Intro to SBA 7(a) loans

The fundamentals of SBA 7(a) loans

Think of an SBA 7(a) loan as an engine to drive your business. It’s a government-backed option designed specifically for independent companies that need competitive terms and capital to grow.

To be eligible, there are a few initial qualifications

For-Profit Operations
Your company must operate as a registered, for-profit business in good standing.
U.S. Location
Physical operations are inside the United States or its territories.
Personal Guarantee
Key owners holding a 20% or greater stake must back the loan personally.
U.S. Citizenship
All direct & indirect owners must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Nationals with principal residence in the United States, its territories or possessions.
Loan Amounts
Up to $5,000,000.

This is where we start. And from here, we will work alongside you to figure out the best approach.

How small businesses benefit

Capital to match your ambition

When opening a second location, initial setup costs can feel heavy. When sales projections are climbing, you need inventory. Or maybe you’re eyeing an acquisition to double your footprint. An SBA 7(a) loan can provide the capital to make those moves without draining your operational bank account.

Longer repayment terms

Spreading payments out over years keeps your monthly overhead predictable.

All-in-one financing

You can combine real estate, buildouts, inventory, and equipment under a single, manageable loan structure.

Preserved working capital

Lower monthly payments leave more cash in your hands for daily operational needs.

Accessible funding

SBA financing offers solutions that may not be available through conventional lending.
